Lovely residence in a very quiet place! The pool and garden area was far over our expectations so also the apartments big terrace. It was clean and had all the facilities for 4 people. The owners was absolutely fantastic and lovely to meet! Very nice couple! The only thing that could have been better is the bed in the apartment-bedroom which was a bit too short for my husband. The terrace-bedroom was absolutely fantastic! Overall.... a fantastic place we really can recommend!

More than 1 mnute to beaches ! but only 5 minutes slightly rough walk. However beaches well worth it. Apartment clean and reasonably well equipped. Only real downside being the kitchen - very small and not very well designed or equipped. Apartment ina very good position with nice views in the best part of the island

Loved the accomodation and the local area. Was unsure how it would work out with owners living below but they were perfect in every regard. Not too intrusive yet there to offer sound advice and help whenever called upon. We didnt have a car and didnt feel that we needed one. Look forward to returing - thank you

The property was well set out and had a lovely roof terrace. The decor seemed a bit tired in the kitchen and bathrooms. It was in a great location and the owners were very helpful.

Review submitted by Nina from Barnet 6 Sep 2010
The property is brilliantly located - with easy walking access to two very nice beaches and a short car journey to other places of interest. However, we were disappointed to find that one of the two bedrooms advertised was in a self-contained building at the other end of the terrace. This was not made explicitly clear in the advertisment and was wholly unsuitable for a family with young children. We ended up having to sleep 4 to the aparment using the double bed, a camp bed and the sofa! Had this been made explicit we wouldnt have chosen the apartment at this stage as it is better suited to 2 couples or perhaps families with older children who are comfortable with the children sleeping in a separate building.

I thouroughly enjoyed my stay at the villa Alegria. It had everything we needed and the owneres, Catherine and Andy gave us a wonderful welcome and their hospitality knew no bounds. Wonderful place, a little oasis within walking distance of 2 fantastic beaches. Local restaurants were excellent and overall I fell in love with Ibiza, much in part to being in such a lovely location. No negatives except to suggest supplying a cafetiere in the Kitchen for those early morning coffees on the wonderful veranda overlooking the pool. Will definately go back to Ibiza and stay in villa Alegria.

Beautiful setting - in-between two amazing beaches. Didnt want to go anywhere else the whole week. The apartment was perfect for a chill out week, with a lovely pool and huge terrace - Cat gave us such a lovely warm welcome it felt like home. Only criticism was that that it was difficult to sleep at night in one of the rooms as no aircon or fans. Would love to go back for 2 weeks next time.

Lovely rooms with big terrace offering wonderful private night sky views and daytime sunbathing. Owners very friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. Easy to reach all parts of island while still giving you a good "away from it all" feeling. Wi-Fi very handy for keeping in touch with people (and work) back home. A freelance could work from here all summer long. Lovely big shared pool though we didnt use it - were not pool people.

The property was in an ideal location and had all the facilities we needed and overall we had a very enjoyable stay. We did howvever have some criticisms: the cost of the rental was high comparable to similar apartments we are aware of or have rented in other parts of Spain- this may be just market forces in Ibiiza but this has clouded our opinion. The condition of the apartment although clean was a little tired, some fittings (one a/c and shutters)were in need of repair or just in need of maintenance. We rent out flats in the UK and our judgement is based on the standards we set for our own properties.

Jun 9ᆥth 2009 - Throughly recommended. Wonderful place to relax and expore the island. Benniras on Sunday sunset and Formentera's blue waters are a must. Andy & Cat were both very helpful for bits and pieces and the house, thank you.

Excellent location for exploring the island. Definitely hire a car to get around to get hte best out of the island. Bedrooms are opposite ends of the top floor of the villa so great privacy and space. Cat & Andy are very friendly and incredibly helpful if you have a query and they make helpful suggestions. Nearest beaches at Cala Pada and Niu Blau definitely not the best on the island but useful if you are having a lazy afternoon, keep driving north or south for blue waters. Santa Eularia great for shopping & a coffee. Will definitely recommend to friends & hopefully will return one day.

The Casa Alegria Apartment is a haven of tranquility with a brilliant location ideal for people who want the laid-back Ibizian experience. The photos on this site dont really give you the feeling of space you are getting - the rooms and terrace are much bigger then I expected and are huge by Ibizan standards. The accomodation is very Ibizan in style, homely, comfortable and charming. The hosts are extremely welcoming and met every request we made. I had my 8 month old son with me and they were beyond accomodating to us. The location is superb if you want to potter to a quite beach by day and dont mind a bit of a drive for eating out or are happy to eat in. Santa Eularia is reachable by the cliff/beach walk but this isnt really suitable for buggies or at night either. I think you need a car in Ibiza no matter where you are to make the most of the Island and this location is no different, one word of warning - the access road is very bumpy! Which - come to think of it - is fun in a hired car! Waking up to the sound of birds and having your breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace - then choosing which beach to stroll to? We will definately go back!

OCTOBER 2004 The only downside to staying at Casa Alegria, is you might not see much of Ibiza. Such is the inherent tranquility - from residing amongst fragrant pines, a stones throw from an undisturbed, sheltered beach - you will almost definitely want to indulge yourself, by experiencing every inch of this rustic, characterful oasis. Well-positioned to sample Ibiza's varied markets and towns, we found Casa Alegria provided an ideal base to get into 'island life'. But you can equally stock-up with wares and kick back in this charming haven and let the world go by. Whether lounging around the pool, or feasting to the ubiquitous accompaniment of evening Cicadas, there's scope to relax and unwind, in excess.

OCTOBER 2004 Arriving on Ibiza, with only a 20 minute drive from the airport to Casa Alegria, there is a realization that you can be relaxing in the sun by the pool, within the tropical green surroundings so typical of Niu Blau, in a matter of 3 hours from London Stanstead. This traditional detached spanish villa has spacious accommodation suitable for both family and friends, with enough bathrooms, terraces, and garden for you all to relax either together or in your own sun-spot. The large private roof terrace above the main house can be a separate apartment with your own barbecue and views across this fertile land. The perfect place to watch the sun go down in the evening. And in the morning a sublime window view from the bathroom, of olive trees basking in morning sun within the rich red soil reminds you of why you are on holiday. Downstairs sleeps 6-8 (with 3 en-suite double bedrooms) and the large living room opens out onto a stone veranda which overlooks the pool. This area is where the entertaining gets going. A large wooden table and chairs, sheltered from the sun if need be, are the best seats in the house. Once the music is tempo, and the beverages flowing, one can forget the day and time and loose oneself in the beautiful, ambient surroundings that Andrew and Catherine have so successfully created. Dinning 'al fresco' is the best way to enjoy Casa Alegria but should you be recovering from a night or lunch in Ibiza town and needing to get away from the heat of the sun, each bedroom is tastefully decorated, with cool egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy white towels. You can re-charge with a disco nap /siesta before relaxing in this Ibiza's perpetual motion.

OCTOBER 11th-14th 2004 Casa Alegria provides spacious, quality accomodation in a relaxing and tranquil setting. It took us just minutes to adjust to the pace of life in this secluded location. Only a short walk from the house are a choice of beaches with good facilities and a half hour walk along the coast takes you to Santa Eulalia with it's lively marina - great for lunch
